Management
Darin
Gradin
The challenging and demanding task of running Yurtco's
day-to-day operation is managed by Darin, who has 29 years
of experience in this industry.
Darin maintains high standards in everything he does,
and strongly believes in doing things right the first time. Never,
will Darin take a shortcut or go the fastest route if it might
degrade the quality of a product, and every yurt that leaves the
Yurtco plant reflects his attention to detail and workmanship.
Darin and his partners are proud to offer such an
innovative and unique structure to the many situations in which
yurts can be enjoyed.
Ray Fielding
Ray has over 35 years experience in the construction
industry building and renovating commercial and residential buildings.
Ray has always worked with wood - designing and building many
different products. Away from Yurtco, Ray enjoys the
outdoors and whenever he can Ray heads to his ranch near Princeton,
BC. Located beside the Trans-Canada Trail on the old Kettle Valley
Rail Line there are plenty of things to do to keep Ray busy.
With a yurt on his property, Ray is able to show his guests what
yurt living is all about.
Frank Wingelman
Frank has been in the manufacturing business for
over 40 years and is one of the founders of Yurtco. His specialty
is in the area of custom metal fabrication for the design and manufacturing
of
equipment
used
in the forest
industry. A decade ago Frank began putting a team together to design
and manufacture yurts in Canada. His vision was to build yurts
of the highest quality and sell them at an affordable price.
Frank successfully proved his vision. The raw
materials and other resources available in British Columbia, Canada
allow Yurtco to offer high quality, hand-crafted manufacturing
processes and affordable pricing.
